Product Description

The video conference platform announced the introduction of gesture recognition into its desktop version of Zoom, providing users with a more easily attractive way.

Currently, only two gestures are supported, but they are very important - thumbs up and hands up - so you should be able to easily get the spotlight.

fantastic

Gesture recognition has been available in some versions of Zoom conference calls for some time, namely the company's iPad and iPhone applications, but this marks the first time that this feature is available on its desktop applications.

Executing one of the two gestures involved will display the relevant emoticons in the meeting itself. If you are in a particularly noisy or crowded place, you can provide a useful response or reaction mode.

Users need 5.10.3 or later to use gesture recognition, which can be enabled at the account, group, or user level - although it is disabled at the client level by default.

In addition, the company announced the launch of Zoom conference calls Whiteboard to help promote online collaboration. The "completely rebuilt" online whiteboard experience is described as a "durable, scalable digital canvas", which provides shapes, connectors, notes, adding images, and more.

The company said that the upgraded Zoom Whiteboard can more easily replicate the office collaboration spirit between remote teams in various use cases such as education, training and project management.

Elsewhere, Zoom has also introduced many new upgrades and updates to keep pace with its competitors.

This includes improving the visibility of group meeting activities or moderators, the ability to create a central voting library for meetings, and the detection of suspicious logins in Zoom by users who are required to log in using work email but do not have dual authentication.
